What's new in ViewletBuilder4?

ViewletCentral Management:

In addition to the same user-interface features modifications as ViewletBuilder4.4 (see below), ViewletBuilder4.5 has been optimized for compatibility with self-hosted ViewletCentral. A ViewletCentral Management window has been created that allows to perform account and project management activities easily and efficiently from one single location.

ViewletBuilder 4.4

ViewletBuilder4.4 includes exciting new features that enhance its power, ease of use and integration with Qarbon's ViewletCentral.

- New Publishing Wizard

In order to give you optimum flexibility in the way you manage and control your Viewlets, a publishing wizard has been added so that you can easily publish your Viewlets on any location of your choice including Qarbon’s public ViewletCentral, FTP sites or on any local or network folder.

- Expanded Email Reporting

ViewletBuilder4.4 comes with expanded email reporting capabilities to give you more detailed reports that provide you added insight into the usage of your Viewlets and also to help you determine if they are meeting the needs of your target audience. Email reporting now includes Viewlet summary, user summary, user question level details, passing grade and per question timing. In addition, email reporting is no longer affected by pop-up blockers.

- Streamlined One-Click Viewlet Preview

One-click Viewlet Preview now makes it quick and easy to preview your Viewlets without having to go through the “compile, save, preview” steps, ultimately saving you time and hassle. With just one click, your viewlet will be saved and launched into a browser.

- New Installer

The installer now automatically installs all spelling dictionaries relevant to the language in use. This releases burden on the user and helps avoid many issues that may arise when downloading manually.

What operating systems are compatible with ViewletBuilder4?

What are the minimum system requirements needed to run ViewletBuilder4?

No, once you install ViewletBuilder4, you have everything you need to run the software. However, there may be some programs (which are not considered plugins) that you need installed on your system in order to run ViewletBuilder4. How can I tell what version of ViewletBuilder4 I am using?
When you launch ViewletBuilder4, a splash screen will appear briefly displaying the program edition and related information. You can also display the splash screen by selecting "Help" then "About ViewletBuilder" from the menu options. Then, click on the splash screen to close it.

Where can I obtain information about or get the latest ViewletBuilder4 program releases?
If you provided your email when you downloaded ViewletBuilder4, you will automatically receive emails about product upgrades, etc. You can also use ViewletBuilder4's "Check for Updates" feature to periodically or manually check for program updates. Some significant updates are not handled by this automated process and require you to download the complete software.

Is there a list available for what's included in ViewletBuilder4 program updates?
Yes, a list of program updates is available on our site, which you can access from the download page next to the current release number.  Additionally, if you use the "Check for Updates" feature inside ViewletBuilder4, before downloading any updates, you will a list of items included in the latest update.

shift DOWN Moves an object down by 10 pixels
